About Karen Desrosiers
I am a writer, artist, and teacher, living in the seacoast region of New Hampshire. I have always been driven by creativity. Some of my earliest memories involve art classes and creating. My art tends to be bright and joyful, with strong color and texture.
I've always had a rich imagination, full of fantasies and stories. But it wasn't until well into adulthood that I realized I could put my stories on paper, that I could be a writer. More than twenty-five years later, I am a published author of two non-fiction books, as well as numerous articles, essays, and short stories.
With a background in high tech and corporate America, and being a single mother, in 2003 I decided to refocus my energies on building a creative life. My days are now balanced between writing, creating art, and teaching, with as much travel sprinkled in as I can manage.
