Autobiographical Writing for Fiction & Non-fiction

Saturdays, May 8 – 29, 9-11:30am, $100

How do you reflect and represent real life events in fiction and non-fiction? How close must

you stay to the truth? When can you fictionalize? For writers of all levels, who want tips and

techniques for handling real life events in their writing.

The Business of Writing

Saturdays, June 12 – 26, 9-11:30, $75

This workshop will address the business aspects of writing, from figuring out where to submit

your work, to writing query letters and synopsis, developing a pitch, and tracking your

submissions.

The Craft of Creative Writing

Saturdays  July 10-August 14, 9-11:30am, $150

This workshop, for beginning and intermediate writers, focuses on the issues of craft in creative

writing, for fiction and creative non-fiction, including character development, setting, dialog,

scene, plot, and more.

All writing workshops will be held at the Exeter Center for Creative Arts (ECCA), 30 Linden Street,

Exeter, NH, in the Tuck Learning Campus.  Workshops are limited to a maximum of 10 participants.
